Growing up a girl in the grooviest decade, I remember being encouraged to be adventurous. I used to hike the woods behind my house pretending I was an explorer looking for hidden treasures deep in the jungle. I didn't just glide down the biggest hill on my bike, I peddled as fast as I could. And the candy tasted sweeter when I had to sneak out of the house at night to buy it from the minimart. I was raised to be bold, independent and inquisitive. I loved the rush of adrenaline that comes with taking risks. I still do, my stunts are just a little slower these days.

Speak up, express yourself and be heard were the lessons that defined my generation. So, we embraced crazy colors, lava lamps, shag carpets, disco music and bell bottoms.

I love telling jokes and making people smile, laugh, blush and sometimes pee their pants.
